While you sample our Gallic ways
Of Soupe Terrine and Boeuf sublime
And naturally, our sauce Bearnaise.
Beyond that sauce our Bouillabaisse
Would shame the chefs of old
Compagne
Our expertise is just to please:
Would you care
for un peu de vin?
And now behold, quelle
surprise
Wonderful as a
diligent spouse,
Like the roofs of
gay Paris,
This evening is…“on
the House”.
